Description: Plants spread by underground rhizomes making them ideal for a mid-sized ground cover. Rosettes of rounded light green leaves surround arching upright 1-2 foot tall stems. Large pendulous blooms are purplish red and flecked with tiny spots and occur in early to mid-summer. Plants make a handsome addition to the landscape.

Uses: Excellent container, border or bedding plant. Performs best in regions with cooler nighttime temperatures. Divide every 3-4 years to maintain vigor. Plants spread freely by both underground rhizome and self-seeding. Sow in fall or winter for blooms the following season.
